Super Bowl viewing parties

Where will you watch the Superbowl? Here’s a list of local places offering food and drink specials for the day. Kick-off is at 3:30 p.m.

 

Golden Road Beer

The Mixing Room

The JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE is offering all-you-can-eat tailgate buffet for $25 per person on Feb. 3 during the Super Bowl. Come to the cocktail lounge for smoked baby back ribs and half chicken with potato salad, bbq beans and corn cobbettes. Team-inspired cocktails and beer specials run throughout the day. Enjoy watching the Super Bowl kickoff on two flat screen TVs plus a 100-inch projection screen in the game room at Wirsthaus. Tony’s Darts Away

Vegan Super Bowl Returns! Drink all the beer you want for $20. There will be 20 beers offered during the game. Light bar snacks will be provided. Vegans will enjoy vegan nachos, vegan BBQ sandwiches with pulled jackfruit, slaw and pickles. The signature Brussels sprouts have agave, Sriracha and toasted cumin seeds. Mohawk Bend

Come watch the Super Bowl while eating all-you-can-eat pizza and drink beer for $30 per person. Six pizzas will be rotated throughout the game with 3 non-vegan and 3 vegan options. dineLA at Scarpetta

Enjoy a Scott Conant three-course meal for $45 per person at Scarpetta until Feb. 1. Some of the highlights include a beet salad with port poached pears, braised short ribs with vegetable farro risotto and crispy striped bass with sunchokes and smoked leek spaetzle. Café del Rey

Come join Chef Daniel Roberts for a special “Shine by the Sea,” pairing dinner with Heaven Hills Distillery on Thurs., Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. The four-course seasonal menu includes a handcrafted cocktail and a neat pour pairing with each course. Some of the dishes include Day Boat scallops, Niman Ranch pork cheeks, venison rack and spiced ginger bread. Heaven Hills Distillery’s Andie Brokaw will present the tasting of four bourbon brands. Lemonade

A new, casual, cafeteria-style eatery is opening in the friendly Larchmont shopping village tomorrow, Feb. 1. Grab a tray and select from a buffet of hot and cold dishes. Highlights include soba noodles with kimchi-marinated vegetables and toasted peanuts. Red miso beef short ribs and Tamarind chicken are other favorites. 626 N. Larchmont Blvd.

 

Black Truffle Dinner at Patina

Starting Feb. 5 through Feb. 8, enjoy a three, five, or seven course truffle tasting menu. Sommelier Silvestre Fernandes is pairing wine with each dish for an additional fee. Highlights include filet of John Dory, Scottish wood pigeon and black truffle. The three truffle tasting is $85 per person. Add a wine pairing for $35. The five-truffle menu is $125 with an extra $60 for wine pairing. The ultimate seven truffle tasting is $175 per person with $80 for the dishes to be paired with wine. 141 S. IHOP

It’s National Pancake Day on Feb. 5.  Come to any IHOP for a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes all day. In return, guests will be asked to consider donating to the Children’s Miracle Network.
