Missing 54-year-old woman sought

The family of Eileen Thompson and the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help to locate the 54-year-old woman who suffers from a mild case of schizophrenia.

Thompson was last seen on June 25, 2012, around 7 p.m., leaving her residence in the 100 block of South Hobart Blvd. in Los Angeles. Thompson is described as a 54-year-old Chinese woman with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 95 pounds. She was last seen wearing a baseball cap with the American flag on the bill, a dark jacket and knee length denim shorts.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Eileen Thompson is advised to contact the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit, Detective Alma Mercado, at (213)996-1800. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to (877)527-3247. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at (800)222-8477. Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 with a cell phone. All text messages should begin with the letters “LAPD.” Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on “webtips” and follow the prompts.
