Police investigate murder on Laurel Avenue

Police are investigating the murder of a victim found shot to death at a home in the 300 block of N. Laurel Avenue on Nov. 1. Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Sara Faden said officers were called to the home around 11 a.m. after a friend of the victim went to the residence and found the man dead. No motive has been established, and no suspects have been identified. The victim was described only as a Caucasian man in his 40s.
