3rd Street Station

Enjoy weekend brunch from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $20 per person. Start with your choice of duck fat fries, macaroni and cheese or pan roasted asparagus. Some of the entrée items include croque madame, a pork belly panini or Merguez lamb torta. Pig & Beer Pop Up Dinner

The next Trap Door Dining experience is at Marcona on Melrose on Sunday, July 22. Enjoy a six-course pig tasting menu with a beer pairing from Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. Dinner is served from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. It costs $59 per person and includes a beer pairing and dessert course by Marcona’s pastry chef, Janna Leone. Bootlegger Brewery Night

Pitfire Artisan Pizza

Local brewmeisters offer beer samples at Pitfire the third Wednesday of each month. Tonight at Pitfire downtown, Lightning Brewery will offer $2 pours on a selection of beers from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be some off-menu specials that pair nicely with the beer. Start your night early from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with special Happy Hour priced appetizers, cocktails and desserts. Try a Kobe lettuce wrap for $6 or tuna carpaccio with arugula, avocado, parmesan and truffle soy sauce for $7. The WAVE’s Rooftop Plaza Party

Join the WAVE’s Pat Prescott tonight, July 19 at 5 p.m. at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites Rooftop Party. Enjoy grilled food while sipping delicious wines and cocktails and grooving to the sultry sounds from The Clueless Remix band. If you miss tonight, July 21 is open to the public to welcome 97.1 AMP Radio with  a summer pool party at 1 p.m. DJ Kryptonite is spinning and there will be a special AMP performer. Every Tuesday from now until Sept. 25, Caulfield’s at the Thompson Beverly Hills rooftop, offers screenings of classic films at 9 p.m. After the movie, a special guest will answer questions from the audience. The film on July 24 is “Moulin Rouge”. The event is moderated by The Hollywood Reporter. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person and include a small popcorn and soda. Macrobiotics at M Café

Consulting Chef Lee Gross celebrates summer with healthy microbiotic deli salads, refreshing juices and sunny soups. Some of the salads include green papaya with sea palm salad, new Mexican black beans with barley and heirloom tomato and white bean salad. Garden-fresh juices include ginger, kale, almond and watermelon. Some of the soups offered are lentil and summer squash rasam, lotus root and sweet corn chowder and chilled zucchini-basil soup. Tom Bergin’s Tavern

Starting Tuesday, July 24 from noon to midnight, diners can opt for Executive Chef Brandon Boudet’s Tuesday at Tom’s special. The menu changes each week and will feature a Tavern Plate with a salad, soda bread, a protein and side. Finish with a dessert for $15 per person. A pint of Harp is $4 or add a glass of house red or white wine for $5. On July 24, the menu will offer Guinness BBQ chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes, plus a green salad and roasted sweet corn soda bread. Steak and Sangria

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is offering a Summer Lovin’ Steak & Sangria prix fixe dinner now through Aug. 26. The summer menu, which changes every two weeks, starts with a crisp salad. The entrée is a Prime N.Y. Strip with garlic herb butter and Burrata cheese one week and Prime N.Y. Strip with a sweet and spicy rub the next week.
