Rick Bayless at Red O

Tonight and tomorrow, June 1, celebrity chef Rick Bayless will be at the Red O restaurant in honor of its two-year anniversary. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Bayless will be signing copies of his latest cookbook, “Fiesta at Rick’s”, during the Red O Street Food Social Hours. Guests will meet Bayless in the tequila lounge and on the outdoor patio. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Dinner service begins at 6 p.m. with Chef Bayless cooking some of his signature dishes. Try some of his new Mexican raw bar and ceviche menu items. Locando del Lago’s Rabbit Dinner

Tonight Chef Minuz will feature a five-course Morso della Bestia menu spotlighting De Bruin Brothers rabbit. Raised on a diet of sweet alfalfa, oats, wheat and barley without any antibiotics or hormones, enjoy roasted rabbit loin, rabbit shoulder and belly risotto, rabbit liver with garden peas, and roasted rabbit leg.  The dinner begins at 7 p.m. and is available in both the dining room and at the restaurant’s communal table. The rustic Northern Italian cuisine is $48 per person and includes unlimited litros of house red and white. Dessert is a chocolate cake with cherries and whipped cream. LA Wine Fest

Part of the Raleigh Studios will be transformed into one of LA’s largest educational wine festivals on June 9 and June 10. Come experience award-winning wines, food trucks and gourmet treats. The two-day event will feature a variety of tasting classes taught by wine and spirits professionals. Live entertainment and international cuisine samples will entice guests throughout the day. On June 9, the festival begins at 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. On June 10 it begins at 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Tickets are $75 each day or $139 for a couple per day. Kick off the first weekend of summer with a new build-your-own Bloody Mary bar during Sat. brunch. Build your favorite brunch libation with cured meats, pickled vegetables and olives. Magnolia is celebrating all the colors of the rainbow with a delicious vanilla or chocolate cupcake with buttercream and an edible rainbow decoration for $3.50 each. Girl and a Grill

Starting June 1 through Aug. 31 at Nick & Stef’s every Friday night, Executive Chef Megan Logan steps out of the kitchen to grill on the patio. Using prime cuts of meat, Logan grills tri-tip, skirt steak and flat iron steak. She also grills ribs, chicken breast, bbq shrimp and grilled oysters. Prices range from $8 to $20. Wine Tasting Event

On June 2 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Wood and Vine will host winemaker David Vergari with flights of Vergari wines. They will also serve wines that he crafted for Thornton Winery. Roof  Top Dining

Now until Sept. 2, sit among lush Mediterranean foliage and enjoy the spectacular views of the skyline at The Roof Garden restaurant at The Peninsula Beverly Hills. Al fresco dining is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sat. and Sun. offering barbecued specialties fresh off the grill. The ION Rooftop Bar and Lounge at the L.A. LIVE is offering a lively Blues and BBQ brunch every Sunday until Labor Day weekend.
