Auto Crimes Increase in Rampart

The Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Rampart Division held a press conference on May 24 in which Capt. Steve Ruiz discussed the increase of auto-related crimes, such as burglaries and thefts from motor vehicles and how to prevent becoming a victim. LASD Sergeant Sentenced

A former Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department sergeant convicted of sexually assaulting one woman and inappropriately searching two others was sentenced on May 25, the District Attorney’s Office announced.
