The Trust for Public Land for the City of Los Angeles held a ceremony last Thursday, honoring donors who helped protect the 138-acre Cahuenga Peak from being developed for homes two years ago.
The peak stretches west from behind the “H” in the Hollywood Sign. Before the ceremony, a handful of residents and members of the media were able to tour the grounds of the sign, which is not open to the public.
During the event, the trust unveiled boulders that honored the support of the major donors.
