Rampart Detectives Seek Murder Suspect

Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division are asking for the public’s help in providing information that would lead to the arrest of a suspect wanted in a murder that occurred on June 15.

The incident occurred around 3:11 p.m. in the 400 block of North Coronado Street. Fire department personnel responded to a call about a “man down” in the area, and found the victim lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

The victim has not been identified and is listed as a “John Doe”. He is a Hispanic man in his 30s.

Detectives have no information about the suspect or suspects in the shooting, or any information about a motive.
