Preparations are Underway for Academy Awards

Crews have been busy this week preparing the Kodak Theatre for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, which are being held on Sunday, March 7 at 5:00pm, and will air on ABC. Academy Award nominees and presenters will be greeted on the red carpet in front of the Kodak Theatre beginning at 3:00pm, and will be greeted by film historian, television host and Hollywood Reporter columnist, Robert Osborne. Several street closures will be in effect leading up to the Academy Awards, including Hollywood Boulevard in both directions between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive.
