Burglary detectives with LAPD’s Wilshire Division are investigating a series of commercial burglaries along Pico Boulevard that occurred during the month of October, when the Wilshire area experienced five commercial burglaries during the early morning hours.

The burglaries occurred between the 4200 to 5500 block of Pico Boulevard. As many as five suspects had entered each business, taking property and money.

Wilshire Burglary detectives have recovered video surveillance of the burglaries, and in one instance, captured still photos of one of the suspects, described as a black man, 20 to 25 years of age. One photo depicts a unique tattoo along the right side of the suspect’s neck, which appears to be the letter “W” in a cursive script, similar to the logo of the Washington Nationals Baseball Club. Additionally, the detectives have determined that the suspects were driving a dark colored 1995 to 2000 Chevrolet Astro Van.
