Free pancakes at IHOP

Napa Valley Grille

Executive Chef Joseph Gillard is roasting a whole goat for a new five-course dinner at 7 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 28. Enjoy goat sopes, braised goat ravioli with goat cheese and roasted fig, a goat and pumpkin stew with root vegetables and Vandouvan curry. Finish with a cardamom crème caramel with candied figs. Sunday Night Football

Chipotle will offer a 50% discount on the “Burritos by the Box” to any football fan who faxes or calls in an order of 10 burritos or more to their local Chipolte before 4 p.m. on Oct. 30. The special deal includes chips, sour cream, guacamole and salsa. Visit Chipotle on October 31 from 6 p.m. to closing dressed in a costume and be treated to a burrito, order of tacos, salad, or burrito bowl for only $2. Halloween Fun at Fat Dog

Bring a pumpkin to The Fat Dog on Oct. 30 to enter their pumpkin carving contest from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Basic tools will be provided. Prizes will be awarded to those who carve the most creative pumpkins.

Celebrating Dia de los Muertos

New Autumn Menu at Café del Rey

Chef Daniel Roberts is preparing an eggplant panzanella with housemade bocconcini mozzarella, butternut squash and burrata agnolotti. His Kurobuta pork tagine with pancetta, dates, quinoa, zucchini, yam, cippolini onions and coriander crème fraiche will be a sure hit. The restaurant will also serve an autumn apple cocktail with bourbon, apple, caramel and a dehydrated apple rim. The Girltopia convention highlighting girl-focused activities and fun, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The convention is the official Los Angeles kickoff to the Girl Scouts’ 100th anniversary, and features activities and information to inspire and empower girls of all ages. The event will feature interactive exhibits, entertainment, speakers and workshops. “Girltopia” will also introduce contemporary Girl Scouting to a new generation.

Daisy Rock Girl Guitar will be hosting live performances by The Sledge Grits Band and Manika, with an autograph signing session immediately following each performance. There will also be a Daisy Rock guitar show.
